Fabricated Mica

Fabricated Mica :

When you need reliable and custom fabricated mica parts, USAMica Company is here to help. Our industry-leading fabrication capabilities consistently produce quality products on time and within budget. From prototypes to large-scale production runs, our highly trained team can meet your needs, offering complete fabrication services of manufactured mica parts to customer specs.

Our technicians are trained in a range of manufacturing processes and have a firm understanding of mica, its properties, and how it should be treated. Every process has a standard operating procedure with robust critical safety protocols. Quality control checks occur throughout the manufacturing process to ensure the client obtains fabricated mica components that meet their specifications or requirements.

  • Mica plate can be die punched up to 1/16" thick and machined to specification beyond 1/16". This material can be cut to a fabricated part with CNC, laser and waterjet. And we have thicknesses up to 4”.
  • Silicone bonded mica plate is an excellent choice for heating element cards, washers, terminal insulation, heat barriers and waveguide covers.
We offer fabricated and stamped mica parts from both Muscovite and Phlogopite mica. Muscovite mica plate has a continuous operating temperature of 600°C, with Phlogopite at 800°C.

Technical Properties

Types of Fabricated Mica Parts

Mica Discs and Washers: These flat, circular components are widely used as electrical insulators, gaskets, and spacers in various industries, including automotive, aerospace, and electronics. Available in different diameters and thicknesses.

Mica Tubes and Sleeves: Ideal for insulating wires, cables, and other cylindrical components, these fabricated mica parts provide excellent thermal and electrical insulation while maintaining dimensional stability.

Mica Channels and Troughs: Designed to accommodate and protect wires, cables, or other components, these elongated mica parts offer efficient heat dissipation and electrical insulation in confined spaces.

Mica Plates and Sheets: Customized to precise dimensions and thicknesses, these fabricated mica parts serve as insulation layers, heat shields, or structural components in high-temperature and electrical applications.

Complex Mica Shapes: Leveraging advanced manufacturing techniques, we can produce intricate mica parts with custom geometries, tailored to meet specific design requirements for specialized applications.

Mica Composites and Laminates: By combining mica with other materials like fiberglass, ceramics, or resins, we create composite or laminated mica parts with enhanced properties for unique applications.
